Email hello@cafemedia-mtl.com with your café name and address. Alex will add it manually so your café can be listed in the network.
When a brand requests to advertise at your café, you'll see it in your host dashboard. You have 7 days to accept or decline. Declining has no penalty, you're in full control of who advertises at your tables.
Your café keeps 80% of the placement, paid in two halves: the first once your first AI-verified photo is approved and the second at completion (30 days, once every week's photo is approved). Payments go directly to your bank account via Stripe Connect. CaféMedia MTL's 20% is taken from the brand's payment, never from your share.
You need a Quebec business registration certificate OR a signed business lease (rental agreement) for your café space. You'll upload the document during the sign-up process. Our AI reviews it to confirm your café's legitimacy.
Your subscription gives you access to the full café directory, you can search by neighbourhood, vibe, and aesthetic to find your ideal placements. You can book campaigns, manage your active placements, and receive weekly reach reports. The subscription is required to access the directory and book campaigns.
Each café placement costs $500 to $1,500 for 30 days, depending on the café, plus applicable taxes. You see each café's exact price before you book. This is separate from your directory subscription. Booking saves your card without charging it. We charge a café's price only when that café's first photo of your placement is approved. If a café declines or doesn't reply in time, you pay nothing for that café.
You pay nothing for that café. Your card was saved when you booked, not charged, so there is no hold to release and nothing to refund. A café has until the reply deadline shown in your booking confirmation. The other cafés in the same booking are not affected: each café decides on its own.
All advertising assets (coasters and placards) must meet our creative guidelines. Key rules: no text-heavy designs, brand logo prominent, QR code with GatekeeperAI verification required on every piece. Full specs, templates, and submission steps are on our Creative Guidelines page.
Yes. You can cancel or pause your subscription at any time from your brand dashboard. If you cancel, your access to the directory ends at the end of the current billing period. Pausing lets you keep your account active without being charged month to month.
